After several years as an International Steel Trader, I decided the time had arrived to dedicate myself to my passion of preserving artisanal crafts and mission to show that luxury grade things could be made in some of the world's most rural and vulnerable places and by communities that have oftentimes been left without the advantages of outside investments.
While I developed this brand and concept I realized one thing that my business partner and co-founder, Victoria Cuesta, summed up perfectly: true luxury uplifts the wearer and the maker.
Once I understood that, our focus shifted from profits to people and our business model changed.
