Our collection is a curated blend of Travel and Resort goods from around the world, mindfully sourced with the intention of bringing together a discerning, socially conscious clientele and creators of exclusive, hand-crafted designs.
We uplift communities by helping them develop superior, on-trend products while giving our highly-skilled collaborators and producers an avenue to use their diverse talents to propel themselves into a sustainable way of life. We proudly believe that it is far more effective to help others help themselves, which is why we ensure that our producers get paid equitably for their time and skill. It’s also why we choose to only support trade with people and communities whose livelihoods focus on the production of goods that preserve regional traditional techniques.
Let our collection ignite your wanderlust.
Bon Voyage! Safe Travels! Feliz Viaje! Gute Reise! Ciao!
WHERE WE SOURCE
ABOUT THE FOUNDERS
Lorena Miranda, Founder & CEO
A full blooded Miami girl, born and raised, Lorena Miranda is a life lover and world traveler, who in her free time enjoys exploring her hometown like a tourist. With a knack for developing relationships and building partnerships with some of the world's most skilled, creative artisans, she had a vision of creating a luxury collection of travel goods and resort wear made from products sourced from around the world that told the story about their origin, the people who made them, the great skill it took to create them, while making the wearer feel sexy, sophisticated, and vivacious.
A self-confessed "over-packer" and a lifetime lover of fashion, travel, animals and all things va-va-voom, Lorena developed Sonder&Holliday to be a brand that proves that the artisanal can be glamorous, practical and also do lots of good while reminding us that life is short and the world is grand, so look great and travel often.
Cheers to that!
Victoria Cuesta, Co-founder & Creative Director
Co-founder Victoria Cuesta was drawn to Sonder and Holliday because of the opportunity to create luxurious products that helped both the wearer and the maker live their best lives. Inspired by Sophia Loren, Amal Clooney & Auntie Mame, the Miami-born bon-vivant and epicure wanted to bring the exhilaration and sophistication back to travel through fashion. Victoria began her career in Hospitality Management, creating meaningful, personalized experiences at Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, and then went on to receive her MBA from Emory University's Goizueta Business School. When not hard at work on various projects, you can find Victoria hosting a party, volunteering, or hopping on a plane for a new adventure.
